What’s the deal?

Lola’s Kitchen is our new home for properly good, unapologetically indulgent street food — all 100% vegan and vegetarian.

Think loaded dogs. Tater tots. Loaded tots. Shawarma wraps. Big flavours. Crispy things. Saucy things. Messy things.

Basically, the sort of food you eat and immediately realise you should probably have ordered two.

Everything that comes out of the Lola’s Kitchen is vegan or vegetarian, because we believe plant-based food should never feel like the boring option.

We’re not interested in beige food, sad salads or serving up something that feels like an apology for not eating meat.

We want food that makes you go, “Bloody hell, that’s good.”

From an award-winning boat…

Lola the Cafe Boat started with a simple idea: make great food, put it on a boat and see what happens.

Turns out, quite a lot happened.

We’ve fed thousands of people, travelled the waterways, made some brilliant friends and built a community of people who somehow keep coming back for more.

And somewhere along the way, the little pizza boat picked up a few awards too.

So Lola’s Kitchen isn’t a completely new story.

It’s the next chapter.

…to pop-ups, parties & everything in between

Before we open our doors permanently, we’re taking Lola’s Kitchen on the road.

Our pop-ups are our chance to get out there, feed people, test ridiculous ideas and work out which ones deserve to stay.

You’ll find us popping up around Birmingham at venues, events and probably anywhere else that will let us bring a load of food and a big box of tater tots.

Come hungry.

Leave happy.

Possibly covered in sauce.

October 2026

And then…

We get a kitchen of our own.

Lola’s Kitchen is officially launching as a takeaway in October 2026.

A permanent home for the food we’ve been dreaming up, testing, tweaking and feeding to increasingly willing guinea pigs.

There’ll be favourites. There’ll be new stuff. There’ll probably be something loaded with something else.

And knowing us, there’ll be a few surprises along the way.

We’re going to be revealing everything bit by bit — so keep your eyes peeled for the location, menu, opening date and all the other good stuff.

Lola’s Kitchen is coming.

Same team. Same obsession with good food.

Just no canal required.

See you in October.
